In Conversation with Lerner Hall

A documentation of the architectural program of one of the most polarizing buildings on Columbia University's campus

The graphic centers around a section view of Lerner Hall, and three main characters that each face a battle with furniture, signage, and performance in the building. The graphic documents common student experiences within the space, suggestions for renovation from interviews with students, and a quote from an interview with architect Bernard Tschumi. These imaginations, interactions, and aesthetic portraits of Lerner come together In Conversation with Lerner Hall where the main characters end up in the upper right-hand corner for a meeting about renovations to the building.

There is no specific way to read the graphic besides ending in the meeting about renovations.
