Bacteriopolis
Imagine if bacteria made all the design decisions in the world. What would their cities look like?
I thought it would look like a bunch of intestines, with some tweaks to make sure the bacterias' most basic needs are met.
Bacteriopolis is complete with an efficient highway system that connects the main city centers. It has two layers of intestine in the most populated areas to maintain heat and homeostasis. Advanced topological engineering of the tissue inspired by the shape of Klein bottles allows the bacteria to access any point in the city from any other point in the city without needing to exit into the dangerous ocean where protists lurk
